After a grueling 21 hour drive with 2 Sunrises, 2 Sunsets and another 9 hour drive, I arrived at the Gem Show to set-up shop. While working on recovering from the winding 60 mile drive of twists and turns through the Kinston Forest, the 1800 miles I just finished and dealing with the 3 hour time loss, I decided....this is gonna be freq'in AWESOME!

Still Running on either Peru time, West coast time, or maybe just the southern drawn out lag...we made the first round of Incredible StarSeeds with Incredible Passion using the Marketing strategy JIT...Just In Time!!! Lightly seasoned with organic oil, these Welded Steel Artistic anomalies, have been transformed with heat by hand into a harmonious percussive instrument, with the potential to transform the world!
Each StarSeed has been alchemically tuned to resonate with the styles and sounds of the bands we have decided to feature as "Freq's" (Pronounced Freaks). The first 8 drums range in size from 12 inches wide to 16 inches. Each StarSeed wlll have a unique resonance, heady design, and Custom Scale. Every drum will also help to plant over 200 Trees Each!!
With a table full of technologically advanced Purple UV glass, A Plethora of Peruvian Opal, and Plenty Of Percussive Pieces of Harmonic Art, I decided to couch surf my way down to the show and display these unique instruments at one of the Worlds Largest Gem and Mineral shows with people from all over the world. The couch surfin works great cause I am trying to raise as much money as possible for non-profit, and have made some new awesome friends in a few short days! If you travel a lot to new, unfamiliar places; I highly recommend checking out the site: Couch Surfing
DAY !
Today was a beautiful day. The air was crisp and clean, and I have a great location on a corner in spot D-7 outside of KINO, blocked from the heat of the SUN! I am vending solo right now, but have had some requests and hope to upgrade in a day or so. I know many people from my travels, but this time, people need to come and find my stationary as a rock Heady self! Every time I pick up a StarSeed and play it, people come in and are excited to see something "New".
Like the "New" UV Glass (I'm repp'in at the show), which the Ancient Egyptians discovered and used; The tongue drum has as old of an origin, being one of the worlds oldest know instruments and seeding its life in Africa. As with Energy, nothing is "new", but always a transformation of a prior form through time (and forgotton at times) ...."Sometimes the light is all shinin on me...
Other times you should see the Peruvian Opal collection I gathered in my last travels! It is SICK!!! The blue opal makes me smile ( L 8 ~Talk more tomoro or so...
DAY 2
Slightly overcast, means No Sunglasses! Today was a great day! I pulled each StarSeed from its bubble wrap, and played them throughout the day, most for the first time. My favorite Tongue by far of the 8 in sound is the MOE. StarSeed. It is a 16" Majestic Monster of a Sound with an .Ohm symbol welded to the face of the tongue. I am glad I played the instrument most of the day, because it was SOLD today!! This will plant over 200 Trees.
MAKE SURE IF YOU HAVE A BAND/StarSeed YOU WANT, GET IT QUICK! IT WILL SELL FAST!!!
Day 3
Uneventful except for the INSANELY AWESOME conversations that are magnetically drawn towards my booth!! Some days, you can feel that you are there for the conversations, not the sales...Part of my Project contains the idea that all of us are fertile soil, waiting for the right conditions, thoughts, love, to spark the growth of an idea. The seeds I plant are as important in your head as they are in the Earth! By the way: You HAVE to check out my friend Michael's artwork! It has Universal knowledge embedded into it, as do we all!!
Day 4
Wow! It is 70 degrees today and a great day to sell "The Pimps of Joytime" StarSeed!! This may have been one of the happiest instruments in my arsenal, and it found an amazing home. I love music. There is no stereotyping when a person walks up to your shop how they will react to the instruments. I have literally opened some people's eyes to the world with these things!!! haha
The UV glass is a giant success! People love the etchin'. I gifted a glass blower one of my nicest jars to get some feedback from the glass blowin' community round these stompin' grounds! Now if I could just keep the sizes of the 20 different jars I have in order...
Day 5-7
Day 5 and 6 were beautiful. I had a lot of intelligent conversations with so many people from all over the world! There are people who have never seen these instruments, friends who own one, new friends who will own the next generation of pic-up amped Stars, and every thin in between! It is amazing how waves of people will come and go. I heard a traditional Mexican song followed by a unique Chinese lullaby...My Booth has obtained status as a cultural melting pot of frequency sharing!!!
On day 7, I arrive to my booth dressed for the cold. It finally rained in Tucson, even though it was only over night...good for vendors, less good for residents...it is a dry winter! Today was a great day despite my allergies! So many people on a Saturday filling my booth. My new friend Wayne has been getting the StarSeeds in EVERYONES hands! It is awesome how everyone is leery at first, then has the BIGGEST SMILE after playing the drum!!!! I learn something too ya know! Old and young alike LOVE this NEW/OLD harmonic percussion machine <3
...btw The Breakestra StarSeed changed hands today!!!
Day 8-16
Wow! I did it! 17 solid daze of Gem showin off...9 hours a day + extra terrestrial activities, finished packing...and there still isn't any room in my spaceship. ...dangstarseedspacetimequantumness...time for a Sunset Amber (;
